Kelly - Clean and sober since 1999
Kelly struggled dangerously with alcohol and drug abuse for more than 10 years. She came to A Woman's Place in 1999, where the comprehensive services and powerful relationships with her counselors encouraged her recovery. "I couldn't have done this at another shelter. There was something so real and so true here."
Kelly is now 39 and celebrates more than five years clean and sober. Now a manager in a pet store, she's reconnected with her vocation and passion, and inspired by life's potential again.
